Garin Nugroho in focus at the 30th International Film Festival of Kerala

The 30th International Film Festival of Kerala spotlights acclaimed Indonesian filmmaker Garin Nugroho as Contemporary Filmmaker in Focus, with a dedicated programme titled Garin Nugroho: The Poetic Archipelago.

The selection includes five films spanning political history, poetic minimalism, and mythic intimacy: Letter to an Angel (1994), A Poet: Unconcealed Poetry (2000), Bird Man Tale (2002), Samsara (2024) and Whispers in the Dabdas (2025).
