The 13th International Conference for Asia Pacific Arts Studies (ICAPAS 2025) convened academics, researchers, and artists to explore the theme Rethinking Artistic Research: New Paradigms, Practices, and Potentials. Among the keynote speakers was Dr Gomesh Karnchapayap (Silpakorn University, Thailand), contributing to a wider conversation on practice led research in a shifting contemporary art landscape.
Alongside the conference, ISI Yogyakarta and Bremen University of the Arts initiated a Cultural Dialogue programme, creating a platform for cross cultural workshops and an exhibition as a tangible exchange of artistic knowledge
